Terms and Conditions
By placing an order with Chris Cross Creations, the customer has read and agrees with the terms and conditions by which we operate. Chris Cross Creations reserves the right to change its' policies, procedures, terms, prices and conditions without prior notice.

All the pictures of guidons and colors that appear on this website and storefront were stitched by Chris Cross Creations. All images are owned by Chris Cross Creations and are protected by Copyright.
ALABAMA RESIDENTS
We are required to charge a 6.5% sales tax to Alabama residents. Military units inside the state of Alabama must submit their tax exempt number to exclude the tax on their order. We are not required to collect sales tax on orders shipped outside of the state of Alabama.
SHIPPING COST
Our shipping is a flat rate of $4.99 for our framable Battalion Colors and Military Guidons. This rate applies to the USPS priority mail method only. It does not include insurance. Electronic delivery confirmation is included for most stateside and APO addresses. If we have to hand write your address label because it isn't in the USPS database, e-delivery confirmation does not apply. E-Delivery Confirmation lets me, the shipper, know the date and time of the delivery of your package, or the attempted delivery of your package. It is not a tracking number that lets you know when and where the package was scanned along its' route until it was delivered. If you, the customer, requests a tracking number or mail delivery method that will allow you to track the progress of your shipment, our $4.99 shipping rate does not apply. If you require a different shipping method than USPS priority mail, we will calculate the cost according to the individual order. When insurance is requested by the customer, the amount for the insurance will be manually added to the total when the order is processed. That amount will only be what the post office charges us for the insurance. If you have multiple flags in your order, the flat rate of $4.99 only applies if your order is shipped complete. In other words, if you ordered 10 flags and want 5 of them shipped right away and the other 5 shipped at a later time, your order will incur two shipping charges.
INSURANCE ON SHIPMENTS
The customer has the option of paying an extra fee to have their order insured. Chris Cross Creations is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs to uninsured orders. The postal service, by law, does not cover any loss or damage for uninsured packages that occur in their possession.
IMPAC CARD PURCHASES
Any party making a purchase with a government issue credit card will be required to sign a final estimate that Chris Cross Creations will fax, e-mail or snail mail to that person. IMPAC credit card orders require the purchaser to sign and date on the final estimate that they are the authorized purchaser and the approval authority for funds disbursement. The card holder must provide the card number before production begins on the order. Any estimate that exceeds $2,500 for this type of purchase will require the proper paperwork from the Purchasing and Contracting office for their agency before production can proceed.
DESIGN SET UP FEE
Chris Cross Creations will take care of obtaining any artwork or drawing needed to create an embroidery design of your coat of arms, distinctive unit insignia or SSI. Chris Cross Creations requires the set-up fee to be paid in advance and requires a signed final estimate to be signed off on prior to any work being done. We have a set fee of $90 ($100 for the ROTC designs) to create the embroidery design of your coat of arms, distinctive unit insignia or SSI. Occasionally, there are military designs sent to us that are not a standard coat of arms (meaning shield and crest for the Bn Colors with the eagle on them). These designs we quote individually because the stitchcount on the final design will be much higher.
PURCHASING FROM CHRIS CROSS CREATIONS
All purchases made from Chris Cross Creations are made in one of two ways. You can place an order directly from the storefront with a credit card in a secure manner. The person placing the order must be the cardholder, whose name appears on the card. We accept MasterCard and Visa only. If you call us on the phone or send an e-mail with your order request, we will provide you with a full cost detailed estimate that the customer will have to sign and date and return to us with their credit card information before the order is processed. When I work on my flags in the shop, I work off of either the storefront order (guidons orders are required to have a separate e-mail with your written instructions for placement of letters/numbers) or your signed estimate. Every order has to be in writing. We ship orders via USPS priority mail unless the customer requests a different method of shipping ($4.99 flat rate does not apply for alternate methods of shipping). The customer has the option of paying an extra fee to have their order insured. Chris Cross Creations is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs to uninsured orders once the shipment leaves our facility.
ORDER CONFIRMATIONS
When you place an order from our storefront, you will receive two e-mails. The first e-mail will be a computer generated order confirmation from the storefront that details what you ordered. The second e-mail will be from me (Patty), within 24hrs. I will send you an e-mail to let you know that I received your order. If you don't receive my e-mail after placing your order, please follow up with an e-mail or phone call to me.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
Chris Cross Creations takes great care in every order we receive and produce. We require that each order be in writing. That writing can be in the form of a storefront order or signed estimate from the customer and a clarifying e-mail regarding placement of numbers/letters if the order is a guidon. We follow your instructions for the order. If you receive your order and it does not match the written instruction you provided to us, we will replace the order at no charge. If you receive your order and contact us telling us that it is incorrect but the order matches what you sent us to do for instructions, we will redo the order for you, but you will be charged for it.
GUIDON/BN COLOR SALES
We process, produce and ship colors, guidons and flags in the order that we receive the storefront order or signed estimate. If you need to have your order in hand by a certain date for presentation purposes, please send us a separate e-mail with the information so we can prioritize accordingly. Overseas shipment may take longer. If the person placing the order does not have a credit card, they may mail a company cup/flower fund check or money order to us. Checks must clear the bank before production begins. Guidons and Battalion Colors are custom made orders only and are not returnable for a refund or credit.
