Specializing In Guidons & Bn Colors For Framing
There are a lot of pictures on this page, so please give them a moment to fully load. The embroidered area on the Battalion Colors measures roughly 8.5" x 8.5" (with the Bn number in the upper right hand corner), with the nylon cut at approximately 18x18 inches. I charge $45 for the colors. I stitch them on single-ply 200 Denier oxford nylon. I do not do any framing. Fringe is available for the colors upon request for an additional fee. Currently, I carry fringe in yellow, white, light blue, scarlet and silvery grey. The nylon I use for guidons and colors is available in the required colors such as brick red for transportation units, orange for Signal units, green for Military Police, ultra marine blue for Aviation, oriental blue for Military Intelligence, national flag blue for Infantry units, crimson for maintenance and ordnance, scarlet for engineer and artillery units, etc. Dye lots may vary from bolt to bolt so you may or may not notice a difference in the color shade if you purchase flags from different companies. Keep in mind that the single sided guidons and colors that I produce are for placing in frames for gift giving purposes and as such are not held to inspection specifications of AR 840-10. There will be a set-up charge of $90.00 ($100 for the ROTC designs) ONLY if I have to create an embroidery design of your coat of arms for the battalion colors or your SSI for the Brigade or Division flag. Occasionally I come across unique military designs that I have to quote separately and that the $90 will not apply to. These are usually designs that are used for specific schools, and because of the detail and size, have a much higher stitch count. But 99% of the time, The standard set up fee applies. I will take care of getting the artwork that I need in order to create an embroidery design for your flag. Please read our policy and procedure page prior to placing an order. You can place all orders for guidons and colors right from my storefront (see the FLAG button link at the bottom of the page to go to my storefront). Please be aware that if you want your order shipped to a different address, you must check the 'ship to other address' box during the checkout process and then provide the other address. Otherwise, your order will be shipped to the address that appears on the storefront order that I receive. If you do not want to place an order through the storefront and wish to call me to place the order or simply send an e-mail with your request, you can do that, but I will require you to sign off on an estimate that I will e-mail you to ensure all information for the order is correct, so if you have sent separate e-mails pertaining to how you want your order done, you must be sure that all details are on the estimate before signing it and sending it back. This way, I have a paper trail for the order. THERE ARE ONLY TWO THINGS I TAKE TO THE SHOP TO WORK OFF OF. 1) A STOREFRONT ORDER OR 2) A SIGNED ESTIMATE. I COMPLETE THE ORDER ACCORDING TO THE INFORMATION THE CUSTOMER HAS SUBMITTED OR SIGNED OFF ON EITHER OF THESE ITEMS. I make the framable guidons, Bde and Div flags in three different sizes, small (8"x10", $15), medium (15"x19", $25) and large (21"x28", $35). There are a few of the single sided flags that vary in price, all of which are listed on the storefront. I only make the Battalion colors in one size, 18"x18". Please click on the flag button below to go to the storefront for a complete description. After placing an order from the storefront, please send a separate e-mail with placement instructions for numbers and letters. Each guidon and colors order is processed by hand, by me. Sometimes I have questions and it may take a few e-mails for clarification before an order is fully processed. When you place a storefront order, you will receive two e-mails. The first e-mail will be a computer generated order confirmation. The second e-mail will be from me letting you know that I did infact receive the order. If you do not receive an e-mail from me, please follow up to ensure the order was receive by me. If you still have questions or wish to clarify any aspect of placing an order, please send an e-mail to Patty.
